Today, women represent 47% of the overall Canadian workforce. However, only 30% of the Canadian Advanced Technology Sectors workforce are women. Even a smaller percentage are managers. At the same time, women make up less than 30% of engineering programs nationally. Even less women are enrolled in sciences and bio-tech.

Our nation's future depends on increasing our innovation capacity. This will require the energy, passion and commitment of young women in Canada to:

• Jump in and join us to understand the value of a career in this sector.
