BringITon is a social networking community website designed to support young women aged 16-25 consider developing a career in the Advanced Technology Sectors.

Today, women represent 47% of the overall Canadian workforce. However, only 30% of the Canadian Advanced Technology Sectors workforce are women. Even a smaller percentage are managers. At the same time, women make up less than 30% of engineering programs nationally. Even less women are enrolled in sciences and bio-tech.

Our nation’s future depends on increasing our innovation capacity. This will require the energy, passion and commitment of young women in Canada to:
  • Learn more about the Advanced Technology Sectors.
  • Jump in and join us to understand the value of a career in this sector.
The BringITon social media website has been developed by:
  • CATA WIT (Women in Technology) Forum - CATA WIT (Women in Technology) Forum is a national community based organization that provides women in technology with knowledge and connections, allowing them to advance in their careers and businesses and grow the organizations they participate in.
  • Helix Commerce International Inc. - Dr. Cindy Gordon is the National Chair for CATA WIT and a co-founder of the organization. She has been the visionary architect of the BringingIT on program. Her firm developed the website with the generous support of these organizations below:
