Weekends away means more work

Hey girls!

So the new semester is fully underway and I'm starting to get back in the routine of school and residence and such. I finally got back all of my marks and I ended up with pretty good marks in all my classes so no complaints there. I'm starting to feel a little stressed out though with everything I have to do. The new assignments and quizzes and whatnot are all coming in and on top of that I'm going to be away the weekend of the 23rd for summer job orientation and the weekend of the 30th as I'm visiting a friend at university so I have to make sure to get everything done and manage my time accordingly.

Once the weekend of the 23rd if over I'll feel some relief but everything leading up to that is getting a little crazy. I have to stuff hundreds of envelopes, drive down literally ALL the streets of Stittsville, book a hotel, create a bank account, register a business with the government - you get the picture. It's just a lot to do on top of school work. One of my friends asked me why I even went through all the trouble of this kind of a summer job if it's so much work but I just think that when the summer is over I'll have done so much more and learned more than any of my friends working in retail. It's just such a different job (I'm running a franchise for a window cleaning company) than most of my friends and if I don't like it I don't have to do it the following year. I just feel like I'll enjoy it more than something part-time.

So far my classes have been good. My least favourite so far is programming. We haven't done any real programming, just logic questions and problem solving, but I'm just not enjoying it as much as my other classes. My math class this semester is feeling kind of like LinA from last semester (lots of doing things mindlessly but not knowing why) except I'm having more trouble with the material of this course. I know I'm not alone when it comes to being confused but it's still frustrating. Me and a friend of mine from down the hall have been trying to do some math and it's been a slow process. It seems like for every question we get right we get four wrong. I'll push through and hopefully I'll get it together for the test in a few weeks. Comment with any questions!
