Getting back into the swing of things

Hey girls!

So I seemed to have survived my first day of the new semester. This semester's schedule isn't as regular as last semester (for example, I have 9 hours of classes Monday, 8 hours on Tuesday and then Wednesday through Friday I only have around 3 hours a day). Last term I had a break every day at 11:30 and that's when I ate lunch but this semester I don't have regular hours and I have labs in the middle of the day so my eating habits have been thrown off a bit. I think that I'm going to enjoy my mechanics and physics classes this semester (they look pretty interesting and definitely applicable) but I'm really not looking forward to my computer programming class. I've never programmed anything in my life and I need to learn how to use the software and it just sounds so overwhelming (it probably doesn't help that my friends who had it last semester said it was really difficult).

I've gotten back three of my final grades from last semester and I did pretty well. The only mark I was a little disappointed with was my calculus mark. It was still a really good mark I just missed a couple questions on the exam and in university the difference between points on your GPA really count. I have to maintain a certain average to stay in the coop stream for next year and I wanted to do really well first semester in case second semester was harder. The only mark I'm still waiting on is LinA (film is a full year course so I don't have a term grade) so I'm anxious to get that back.

It's kind of weird here at res because we're all still in the beginning of semester mode and we have no work yet (except reading) so everything is really relaxed. It's like the beginning of the year all over again! In my pod, everyone is sharing our Christmas candy and someone's mom actually went crazy with Christmas baking so we're all swiping treats - they're so delicious! Leave a comment me if you have any questions!
