Hey girls!

This past weekend was lots of fun - me, my roommate and four of our guy friends all went up to a friend's place in Petawawa for a night and then to a party in Renfrew ( the host was someone that we knew from Carleton) the next night. I'm going home on Thursday night to visit with my sister but then I'm coming back on Friday morning. Yes, I'm aware that it's Easter this weekend but I have too much work to catch up on and a surprisingly low number of people are actually going home. Most of my friends from Carleton are from out of town and it just isn't worth it for them to go home for only a couple days.

It's officially my last week of classes for second semester and it feels very bizarre to be done in April - not gonna lie. On the schoolwork front things aren't going too bad. Since class is almost over I had my last lab this week and I only have one more assignment due online on Monday. Other than that I just have to keep up with my final homework and make sure that I understand the last things we're supposed to know. I only have to wait for a couple marks now as almost everything has been passed back. One is my final programming assignment. I think I did fine on the assignment but I didn't do so hot on the lab final. I haven't actually gotten the grade back but when I was doing the program in the lab I completely and totally blanked in every sense of the word (and that has NEVER happened to me). It was like all of my knowledge had just fallen out of my head and I was screwing up even the most basic things - basically it was just NOT my day and I've come to terms with the fact over the course of the term that I am just not meant to program and that I will never be great at it. The other thing I have to wait to get back is my mechanics midterm (which I just found out the average grade was a 40% so you can only imagine how nervous I am). That's about all for now - wish me luck on my midterm grade!
